TEN Institute is proud to announce the 2014 Oklahoma LGBTQQIA College Summit to be held on Saturday, March 1 from 10am to 5:30pm in the Main Building at Oklahoma City Community College.
This exciting one-day meeting will give lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, and allied college students the knowledge and skills to start and sustain a gay-straight alliance (GSA), advocate for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) issues, and much more.
Panelists will include Professor Toby Beauchamp, representatives from The Equality Network, Oklahomans for Equality, Cimarron Alliance, and students, faculty, and staff from universities and colleges around the state. This year's host organization is L.I.F.E. (Leading Individuals for Equality) at Oklahoma City Community College.
