Around the time of the Democratic National Convention (DNC), there have been supporters of Senator Bernie Sanders who are protesting in Philadelphia, which is the city where the DNC is being held.

One protester, Sarah Hoss, is a resident of Oklahoma City, Okla. She claims she came across the country because she “wanted her voice to be heard.”

“I am a huge Bernie supporter,” she says, “and feel very strongly that the primary elections were rigged.”

Many of Sander's supporters believe that Hillary Clinton unfairly won the primary elections.

Hoss claims “I want the media, the DNC, and our country to hear our voice- that we are unhappy with the Democratic Party.”

She states she is the only person from Oklahoma involved in the protest; however, she picked her mother up from Missouri along the way.

Sarah Hoss from Oklahoma City and her mother, Nancy Lowrey from Rolla, MO.

“I am protesting with the Equality Coalition at city Hall and will join the march down Broad Street to the Wells Fargo Center.” She will cease to protest by the end of tonight.

In regards to the WikiLeaks hack, which released nearly 20,000 DNC emails that contribute to the idea that the Democratic party favored Clinton, Hoss states “I’m grateful to WikiLeaks for validating our anger about having our voices shut out during this election season.”

Hoss says she will not be voting for Hillary or Trump, but she will vote for those running for state offices.
