The City Cabaret OKC will present its sixth installment, "Backwards Broadway", May 13th and 14th at 8pm at The Paramount Theatre.

Taking inspiration from shows like MCC's "Miscast", "Backwards Broadway" is an evening of gender-bending, ethnicity-twisting, mind-blowing takes on Broadway hits, presented by some of OKC's finest musicians and performers! Singers will perform spectacular versions of songs from Broadway musicals...as characters that they would and/or could NEVER actually be cast as.

Featuring the vocal talents of Courtney Crouse, Charlie Monnot, Marita Stryker, Cristela Carrizales, Scott Hynes, Brian Hamilton, Sheridan McMichael, Sarah Feist, and Kendon Lacy, led by City Cabaret Musical Director, Corie Melaugh, and backed by the City Cabaret Band: Christopher Black, and Darren Heath.

Join us for this evening of Broadway songs sung by people who will NEVER get to play those roles in real life. Nothing is off limits in this topsy-turvy, all out fun show!

The Paramount Theatre is located at 11 N. Lee, OKC 73102. Tickets for "Backwards Broadway" are $20 and may be purchased at www.TheCityCabaretOKC.com.

A new force in the local theatre and music scene, The City Cabaret OKC endeavors to bring a New York City style cabaret experience to audiences in Oklahoma City. For more information on The City Cabaret OKC's mission, directors, and performers, please visit www.TheCityCabaretOKC.com.
