Earlier this week, The Gayly reported that a Deputy Sheriff with the Cleveland County Oklahoma Sheriff’s department took to Facebook to express inflammatory comments which were discriminatory in nature.
On or about August 11, Ken Coartney posted on his page, “The new generation is filled with lib tards, transvestites, gays, and sissies who need a safe room.”
According to a source close to The Gayly, the Deputy Sheriff has been removed from duty with the department. Our source reports that an internal investigation was done and the findings were “just unacceptable.”
Sheriff Joe Lester said a full statement will be released Monday. Lester has been the Sheriff of Cleveland County since January 2009.
