First Friday on the Paseo is Friday, April 1. No fooling!

Oklahoma City, OK – The Paseo Arts District's First Friday Gallery Walk for April will take place on Friday, April 1, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.  The Paseo Arts Association's Small Art Show will be featured in the Paseo Art Space (3022 Paseo) through April 30. This juried exhibition showcases work in any media no larger than 15 inches in any direction. It's a great show for the beginning collector!

The live entertainment slated for April 1 is the duo Casey & Minna. Their music is mostly light-hearted instrumentals with a little singing. They deliver a feel-good folk and fiddle style from around the world and home, including Cajun, Irish, contemporary and original songs. They were also featured musicians in the movie Rudderless, a musical drama directed by William H. Macy.

Street cuisine offerings for April include Phil Me Up Cheesesteaks with several kinds of authentic cheesesteaks to choose from. Also, Yum Yum Bites will be serving up their Asian fare including spring rolls and teriyaki chicken and beef on a stick.

Each First Friday, Paseo galleries offer special themed exhibits, refreshments, guest artists and a variety of entertainment opportunities – all within walking distance. More than 80 artists in 22 galleries participate. Three restaurants and a handful of shops round out the Paseo's distinctive atmosphere.  The Paseo is Oklahoma City's unique arts destination, located between NW 27th & 30th Streets and Walker & Hudson.
