Free champagne, luscious chocolate! Could it get any better?

Tulsa's Living Arts Champagne and Chocolate gala will be tomorrow evening, December 4.

(Tulsa) Living Arts’ 20th annual Champagne & Chocolate Gala is a glamorous highlight of the Tulsa’s holiday calendar. If the name does not have you marking the calendar and buying tickets, believe it or not, it gets better.

The Gala includes Living Arts’ famous Fashion Performance featuring wearable art, original music, and choreography; each inspired by the other and performed together. In addition to hors d’oeuvres, there will be complimentary champagne and exquisite Glacier Chocolates, complements of our Presenting Chocolatier.

This is your chance to help support Living Arts programming and exhibitions. As Living Arts only real fundraiser, the organization depends on money raised by Champagne & Chocolate to continue their mission fostering and presenting provocative and cutting edge contemporary art. This year is also your chance to help Living Arts honor 20 Friends For 20 Years, artists and patrons who have contributed to Living Arts’ success since 1994. You can show your support of the 20-year patrons and have a drink inspired by the honorees, created by the mixologists from Mixco.

As you enjoy the gourmet chocolates, champagne and custom drinks, local art will be all around you on the walls, in the air, and on stage. Over eighty local artists will have their work for sale in the two sealed bid silent auctions.

The 20/20: Looking to the Future exhibition and auction in the West End Gallery features a collection of artworks by Tulsa artists shaping the direction of Oklahoma's growing art scene. All of the work in this exhibition will be within the 20”x20” size range. Bids for this work end as the fashion show, new music, and dance performances are wrapping up.

Come prepared to be wowed by this year’s all original, all local, all-entertaining performance! Dozens of Tulsa’s creatives have collaborated to create the multidisciplinary showing.

The three dance performances have their own designer, choreographer and new music arrangement. New music was composed and will be performed by Austin Pendergrass, Nathan Wright, and Karen Naifeh Harmon. Tracks created by area musicians will be played as the models display Tulsa’s latest fashion creations on the runway.

Tulsa’s top designers will be showing everything from day-to-day clothing to ceramic corsets to hand painted silk jackets and wraps modeled in part by members of the Tulsa Ballet. Do not miss this chance to see a full cross-section of the best art Tulsa has to offer.

The Gala will be December 4 from 7-10pm at Living Arts, 307 East M. B. Brady Street, Tulsa, OK 74120. The doors open at 7pm for general admittance and 6pm for the Patron’s Party. Tickets are $35 until 5pm on Wednesday, December 3; $180 for a six-pack; $45 at the door, and after 5pm on Wednesday, December 3.
