Last week, Achille Public Schools in rural Oklahoma were forced to close their doors after a group of adults made threatening Facebook comments about a 12-year-old transgender girl who attended school there.

The posts began by a Jamie Crenshaw in the “Achille ISD Parents” group on the popular social media site. The posts began after the student used the middle school girl's bathroom this year at Achille school system. In the past, she had used the staff bathroom.

A spokesperson from Frontier Airlines confirms one of its pilots, Kevin Bickerstaff, has now been suspended from work pending investigation for his role in the violent threats made toward the Achille student.

“Just tell the kids to kick ass in the bathroom and it won’t want to come back!!,” is what Bickerstaff wrote on the thread.

Frontier released in its statement; “We have long-established standards of conduct, to which all employees must agree to adhere, that among other things require people to act in a professional manner and to treat each other with kindness.”
