In memoriam – “C.J.”
Christopher James Dwyer – “C.J.,” age 39, of Kansas City, MO, passed away December 21, 2015.
With the assistance of his best friend Michael Kassleman, C.J. was responsible for setting up and maintaining The Gayly distribution in Kansas City, MO from its inception in May, 2014 until June of this year. He helped build distribution, maintain sites and worked with the distribution manager assuring deliveries were done in a timely manner.
C.J. was born on January 1, 1976 in Wellington, KS to Rodger F. Dwyer and Brenda M. (Green) Dwyer. He was a graduate of Argonia High School.
He was preceded in death by his father, Rodger; grandparents, Ray and Delores Green and grandfather, Jack Thompson; uncles; Tim and Karl Green; and aunt, Beverly Griffith.
Survivors include his mother, Brenda Dwyer of Wellington; brother, Ryan Dwyer and his wife Lori of Olathe, KS; grandmother, Betty Thompson of Wellington; aunt, Pam Brocius of Hanford CA; uncle, Kim Green and his wife Virginia of Kechi, KS; niece and nephew, Lauryn and Dylan Dwyer of Olathe, KS; and many cousins.
Memorial Graveside Services will be held at Prairie Lawn Cemetery on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 1:30 P.M. Pastor John Bliss will officiate.
There will be visitation at the funeral home on Friday, January 1, 2016 from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. The family will be present to greet friends.
C.J. was a valued member of The Gayly team and he will be greatly missed.
A memorial has been established with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Contributions can be left at the funeral home. Frank Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
