'Ninja Warrior' obstacle course transforms Oklahoma Capitol

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — A giant human obstacle course for the reality competition television show "American Ninja Warrior" is transforming the south parking lot and plaza at the Oklahoma Capitol.

Workers began building the giant sets over the weekend, and crews continued to work on the project Monday.

The program features top-level athletes who compete to finish elaborate obstacle courses in front of a live audience.

Filming will take place Friday and Saturday night, with the Oklahoma Capitol lit up behind the set. A limited number of free tickets are available to the general public.

Produced by NBC and Esquire Network, the program will take advantage of up to $5 million in state tax credits offered through the Oklahoma Film Enhancement Rebate Program. Two other national broadcast television productions have qualified for the credit.
