Holidays on the Paseo - Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK (Nov. 23, 2015) – The Paseo announces "Holidays on the Paseo," Saturday, December 5, from 12:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the historic Paseo Arts District in Oklahoma City.

"Holidays on the Paseo" is a great opportunity to find unique holiday gifts in the many shops and galleries of the Paseo. All of the businesses will have extended hours and will be offering special holiday gift ideas and pricing! This will be a great opportunity to get started on (or finish) your holiday shopping by purchasing a locally made piece of original art. Several galleries are offering small works for $50-$100. Many have created unique pieces just for the season.

In addition to shopping opportunities, guests can enjoy Print-it Style card making, one-of-a-kind necklace making, gingerbread house decorating (pre-registration recommended) and artist demos. Santa will pay a visit from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Live entertainment will be provided by Justin Young, saxophonist, who will be strolling the streets from 4:00-7:00 p.m.  Carolers will be at the Purple Loft spreading holiday cheer. Holiday refreshments, including hot apple cider, can be expected in many of the galleries, so you can nibble while you shop. Our three restaurants will be open as usual, but we will also have food trucks such as Taste of Soul Egg Rolls, OKCity Grill, Evoke Coffee, and PLP for those who want to grab a quick bite!

Children can create a free ornament in the Paseo Art Space from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Holidays on the Paseo will be a day full of good cheer and fun activities for families.
