Bernie Sanders has released a passionate official statement to Wall Street today.

In a nation where the top one tenth of the top one percent owns nearly as much wealth as the bottom 90 percent, where the 20 richest people in the country own more wealth than a whopping 150 billion people, "the system is rigged."

Sanders stresses that the words to best describe Wall Street today are greed, fraud, dishonesty and arrogance. But in his official statement, Sanders announces:

"To those on Wall Street who are listening...greed is not good," he pauses for laughter. "In fact, the greed of Wall Street in corporate America is destroying the very fabric of our nation. Here is a New Years Resolution that I will keep if I am elected President: If Wall Street does not end its greed, we will end it for them. We will no longer tolerate an economy and a political system that has been rigged by Wall Street to benefit the wealthiest at the expense of everyone else."

Sanders calls a nation to arms; his message being that Wall Street cannot maintain its extraordinary power over our country when the average person is working longer hours for lower wages.

This change, he says, will make "a future to believe in."
