OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. -
The Oklahoma City Museum of Art will host the second annual Art After 5 Murder Mystery Night event on Thursday, March 31 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Participants are invited to indulge their inner detective and spend the evening solving the mystery of who murdered Mr. Hancock.

"Murder Mystery Night is a staff favorite," said Amanda Harmer, manager of outreach and early learning. "Last year, we had such a great turnout that we knew we needed to plan another Murder Mystery Night this year."

Participants can interview suspects, explore the Museum, and follow the clues to catch the culprit. (The culprit is a figure from one of the Museum's paintings; the murder weapon can be found in a painting, as well.) The event is come-and-go and should take approximately one hour to complete.

This year's victim has been identified as Mr. Hancock, the subject of a new addition to OKCMOA's collection, "Mr. Thomas Hancock," by John Singleton Copley. Copley is widely regarded as one of the most influential painters in colonial America.

The event is recommended for ages 8 and up. Those who solve the crime will be entered to win Murder Mystery prizes. The event is free for members and $5 for non-members. A cash bar will be available. Tickets can be purchased at okcmoa.com or by calling (405) 236-3100.
