The Oklahoma City Philharmonic’s annual Christmas show is a holiday treat for the entire family! This year, The Christmas Show is a Broadway-style, Yuletide variety show with singers, dancers, comedy, favorite music and full costumes & sets. From charming novelty numbers to inspiring Christmas hymns, the Philharmonic will move you with the spirit of the season.

The show stars Beth Leavel. Leavel is a Tony Award winning singer/actor best known for her role as the brassy, belting title diva from The Drowsy Chaperone, and was star of Broadway’s ELF and Mamma Mia! She leads a high-kicking cast of singers, dancers and musicians in the Philharmonic’s family holiday tradition. With spectacular lights, sets, costumes, scenery and favorite and sacred music, the show balances the glitz of Broadway with the spirit of Christmas found only in Oklahoma.

In addition to Leavel, the show also features John Sawyer and Vince Leseney, is directed by Lyn Cramer, and of course includes the OKC Phil’s maestro, Joel Levine, as music director.

Performances are Thursday, December 4 at 7:30pm, Friday, December 5 at 8pm, and Saturday, December 6 at 2pm and 8pm. Tickets are available for $19 to $65 at the Philharmonic ticket office, 428 West California, Suite 210 in downtown Oklahoma City, open from 9am to 5pm; by phone at (405) 842-538); online at www.okcphilharmonic.org or www.myticketoffice.com; and at the Civic Center ticket office at 201 N. Walker. Online purchases and outlet sales are subject to handling charges.
