Understanding what the President proposed in the State of the Union address

President Obama promised in the State of the Union address that he would take executive action to get the country moving again where he could do so without the approval of Congress, and to work with Congress where its approval is needed.

The White House released an extensive list of proposed Executive Orders, and areas where the President has to work through Congress.
