Wichita’s “Our Fantasy” Club closes

“The closing of the club is hopefully temporary...” is listed on the website of www.wichitagayclubs.com, the host for all activities relating to Fantasy Complex.

Our Fantasy Complex is located in Wichita, Kansas and is an entertainment venue for a diverse group of club goers.

“We look forward to opening under new management in the coming weeks,” said Michael Kassleman, Managing DJ for the club. “In the meantime, the creative team behind Fantasy is working to move shows and popular theme parties to temporary locations.”

There are currently no other venues which host weekly drag shows and Pageants, according to Kassleman.

Known as Fantasy, Our Fantasy Complex is self-described as, “the original and oldest gay bar in Kansas. Since 1981, the Fantasy has provided gay, lesbian, bi, & transgendered people a special place to simply be, and enjoy themselves!”

Fantasy has a country bar side, known as “The South Forty,” there is also a performers venue, dance floor, club and has a pool out back which is open seasonally. The club is on about six acres of land and is located at 3201 S. Hillside in Wichita, KS.
