Your 2019 SAG Awards viewing guide
The 25th Screen Actors Guild Awards are Sunday and we're here to get you up to speed.
Highlighting the best film and television performances of the year, the SAG Awards are a peer honor with fellow actors voting on the winners.
Who's hosting?
"Will & Grace" star Megan Mullally is hosting the ceremony. She's said that she plans to steer the night away from politics. Mullally, 60, also joked that she's "the oldest woman to ever host an awards show," when speaking to The Hollywood Reporter.
Top nominees
"A Star Is Born" leads with four nominations. The casts of "Black Panther," "Crazy Rich Asians," "Bohemian Rhapsody," "The Favourite," "BlacKkKlansman" and "Green Book" also received multiple nods. In the television categories, "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" stars Alex Borstein and Rachel Brosnahan are both up for outstanding performance by a female actor in a comedy series. Bill Hader and Henry Winkler, who star in "Barry," are both nominated for outstanding performance by a male actor in a comedy series, along with Alan Arkin and Michael Douglas for "The Kominsky Method."
Presenters
Lady Gaga, Bradley Cooper and Rami Malek are among those who will take the stage to present awards during the event. Other presenters include Chadwick Boseman, Sam Elliott, Constance Wu, Adam Driver, Ben Hardy, Ken Jeong, Angela Bassett and John David Washington. The celeb-filled lineup comes after the SAG Awards accused the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences of trying to discourage actors from presenting at award ceremonies other than the Oscars.
